When we bought our used car in January of 2002 we had a Wynn's Extended Care Service Contract put on it.

Less than a month after buying the car, the transmission went out on it. Would Wynn's cover it? No. Was it in the contract? Yes.

The radiator then went out. Would Wynn's cover it? No. Was it in the contract? Yes.

The water pump then blew. Wynn's actually covered this one.

The tensioner pully on the AC went out. Would Wynn's cover it? No. Was it in the contract? Yes.

It is now in the shop for electrical problems. Will Wynn's cover it? We do not know yet. Is it in the contract? Yes.

All-in-all we have had 4 transmissions put in the car in the last 8 months. The car has been in the shop for almost 5 of the 8 months we have owned the vehicle. We are averaging over $500/month in repair and car rental charges that Wynn's refuses to cover.
