I'd have to agree that Wyotech doesn't live up to the PR hype that it puts out on TV. I honestly believe that there is no reason to move to Wyoming and spend the rediculous amounts of $$$, when all you learn there you can learn at your local community college for a fraction of the cost.

Wyotech is just a typical Corinthian colleges operation. Search them on this website to see what I mean. The Wyotech certificate might have been worth something in the past, but as it stands nowdays, it's practically useless.

It IS quite successful in recruiting, which is quite amazing. The recruitment and PR staff do a great job suckering in the newest and greatest crop of weakly-educated, impressionable rural 18 year olds every four months...

I took the auto and chassis fabrication courses, and I think they were a waste. I learned all the auto stuff in high school shop, and if you were ambitious you could self-teach the welding stuff, or at the very least take a course at the local community college.

Conclusion: Don't waste your money and time.
