Currently a Student enrolled at Wyotech in Daytona Beach. I can honestly say that I am 90% unhappy with this school. The management office and the Instructors in the labs and classrooms arent even close to on the same page. Most of the bikes are destroyed and the equipment we use to work on the bikes are pretty much the same way.

The instructors are knowledgable however when you have 4 of them in the lab and another seperate instructor for the classroom information is lost. For example, one instructor will tell you how to do something one way and another one will come over and tell you thats not the way you should be doing it.Your also in school for almost 9 hours a day 5 days a week with no breaks between classes. It can become extremely stressful. They also punish you for missing time and call your parents or your cell phone asking why you are not in school. Like really calling our parents? Im in college now not highschool why are we treating it like its highschool? Im unfortunately screwed because I didnt see it until it was too late, Im in my last core module and have no choice but to tough it out and finish what I started. Im posting this in the hopes that those that see it will decide to go somewhere else. There is plenty of better schools out there and for the 30 grand you pay to go to Wyotech you could probably buy your own lift and some tools and put a bike together yourself and learn the same things we have learned at wyotech. If your looking for that certification Wyotech isnt the place. Im planning on being in the Harley program after my cores. And you do not get any certifications for harley when your complete the program all you get is a Wyotech certification. This means that when you go to a dealership you will have to go through a whole new phase of trainning. Not to mention that I would like to work on harleys and they are in the shop but the instructors dont want us to disassemble them.

I dont know what else to say I can honestly say that I have no real positive thigns to say about this place. There is no structure whatsoever. Information is just crammed into your head and your expected to know it all by the time uou make it to your last core module. And the whole punishing you for missing time is complete garbage. I know veterans that have VA appointments and they have timed out and been kicked out of school because they missed too much time. Good luck to anyone that decides to go to Wyotech. I am going to be finishing my core and specialty and then im getting as far from this place as I can
