I purchased a scooter from one of their authorized dealer on 20 May 2005. Product is good and dealer is great with service and advice.
On June 13, 2005, (during warranty) the controller (brain) went out. The dealer steered me to X-tremScooters to obtain a new controller.
A support ticket was initialized and they agreed to mail me a new controller under warranty. I requested express shipment and agreed to pay an extra $ 31.45.
I received the controller five days later via normal USPS shipping (I still have the box). I notified them on 6/16/2005 and received a message the next day from Chad Hoffman saying they were sorry for the error and would "find out what is going on".
On 6/28/2005 I received another message from Chad Hoffman Stating "Your refund is being processed for the shipping that you paid for - it should be done in a few days.
On 6/29/2005 I had not received the refund and posted a message stating that I would challange the charge with my credit card company.
The final reply from a Bruce Albee was "OK thanks and have a nice day". No refund has been received to date 7/12/2005.

I was ripped off along with the many, many others. I finally got tired of being ignored by them as you can tell there is no rebutals in there behalf. they are just waiting for this to go away.
there main office is extreme scooters 201 black forest Drive Plover Wisconsin 54467. phone is 715-345-0453. I went online and wrote a complaint with the better buisnes bureal. and was amazed that knowone has a complaint against them. if you wont results, this is something they cant ignore. they will have to get you what you got comming. and enough complaints, they will have to shut down. if you can help me contact everyone that has a complaint with them on the ripoffreport and let them know. that will be great.
as there is huge amount of complaints. together we can make a diffrence. and as you contact someone ask them if they will allso help contact and we all should turn them in to the B.B.B Im from otis oregon. I have allso many complaints against this company on the ripoff sight. thanks.

Almost three months later and I received my refund as a result of utilizing the Internet to lodge my complaint. Turns out the company had one person who made statements he wasn't authorized to. I would like to state that the scooter I purchased is an outstanding product for the price paid and that the warranty service was great.
