This firm starts off ,very professional. They answer your questions to a degree of giving you all the things you want to hear. Once this firm is hired. All hell breaks loose. I was given wrong advice. This firm has no plans on executing your case in an orderly fashion. They didn't meet with me to show a strategy or go over my case, before hand. They filed the wrong motion. They served the opposing counsel incorrectly. They didn't meet a deadline ,but still pursued the case in court, to only get told by the judge, that this case is dismissed. The only way the judge would hear the case. We would have to order an transcript of the prior case. The attorney that showed up, knew nothing about my case, and showed up during the court proceeding. My retainer was exhausted for this 5min wasteful court session. The law firm wants to proceed further, but will not take accountability for their misuse of my funds. I hadn't talk to Josh carpenter, my attorney, for about 8 months now. Sending messages back and forth through emails with his office personnel. For the mistakes they made, he still feels that I should pay for the court proceeding they messed up on and improper filings. Also to get this straighten out, they need me to pay for the transcript to refile. Not only that, I continue to see charges from the last court proceeding. They have hired and fired the staff to get it together but again, Mr.Carpenter law firm should be shut down. They don't believe in customer service. I could have kept my money and represented myself and may have done better, but no worse than the position they left me in.
