Customer Service

I spent thousands of dollars every year for phone/internet/home security from Comcast/Xfinity.  The service is marginal at best and the customer service has been horrible.

My most recent issue was around the Xfinity Home service (if you call it service).  The touch screen doesn't connect to the internet.  When I call, they do their standard trouble shooting and the screen reconnects for a short period of time and then disconnects.  I have call them over 10 times to be walked throught the reboot (I could answer their phones and walk someone through the reboot).

I called them to ask to send someone out and was told I had to go through troubleshooting.  After I complained, they set up an appointment.  I took a day off and the service tech did not show up.  I called and they said that they had no record of an appointment so I resheduled and this time got a CR number as a record.  They again didn't show up and when I called, the "indifferent" customer service person said that a supervisor cancelled the appointment.

After all of this, I get a call on my answering machine that the battery on my touch pad is getting low and I should reconnect to the internet...
