Xfinity/comcast is terrible. I signed up for a promotion to receive an iPad after installation of Xfinity Home Security and after 3 on-time bill payments, I was supposed to receive the iPad. I have now spent countless hours of my time on the phone with customer support during several phone calls trying to receive my promised iPad, only to be told "its on its way" and "I am escalating this request" only to never receiving my ipad. Instead, I was sent a $200 gift card (NOT the equivalent to an iPad), which was then "lost in the mail" and then I had to have customer support resend the $200 gift card because my last conversation with customer support, they told me that they had no record of me even having been in that iPad promotion to begin with (then why tell me for a year "your ipad is on its way"?!). As soon as I received my $200 gift card, I cancelled my Comcast/Xfinity services (cancelled everything except for the home security- they have me locked in for 3 years) but I paid early termination fees to cancel internet/cable/phone to simply be DONE with Xfinity/Comcast. I have never been lied to so many times and strung along so many times by a company. Still waiting for my promised iPad.... An unhappy/furious FORMER customer.
