I have an iPhone from Xfinity and I was going abroad and bought a second phone to be unlocked. After 2 weeks I called them to unlock the phone and they said it couldn’t be unlocked until it was paid off. I asked if they could unlock it temporarily for the duration of my trip overseas and they said no. So I returned the brand new phone in the original box and everything complete.

Two months later, I realized I was still being charged for the phone. I called and got through to a very rude customer service rep who said the phone had water damage. I asked why they didn’t inform me and send me a proof (report). He said i’ll get the proof in 48 - 72 hours. I never got a report and followed up and spoke with two different people who escalated and said a supervisor approved to take the phone off my payment plan since they never informed the phone "allegedly” had water damage.

7 months down the line and it’s still the same story. I have called over 5 times and each time they have promised to give me a call back and escalated the issue but nothing has ever happened. I’m in the store now and they said the phone was sent to a center that destroys damaged phones and yet another escalation has been made!!!! They have no intergrity.
