XFX is the manufacturing division of Hong Kong-based Pine Technology Holdings Limited. The XFX division has its headquarters in Ontario, Californiaand specializes in the manufacturing of video cardspower supplies and motherboards.

We purchased 6 XFX Video Graphics cards through AMAZON online store and discovered that all of their video cards emit dangerous fumes that affect our health- nose, throat, and lungs and make us feel sick.  The symptoms also involve having headaches, feeling feverish for several days, not being able to breath right, shortness of breath.    These symptoms appear with their graphics card(s) installed in a PC.  As the computer users (especially game players) demand more and more performance from their video graphics cards, the video graphics card manufacturing industry build cards that use more and more power and as a result even with adequate cooling in a computer case these video cards tend to overheat and breakdown.  In this case, they emit obnoxious fumes that affect human health and computing becomes impossible in the presence of these obnoxious, toxic fumes.  XFX-USA first of all avoids the issues by denying everything and making it difficult to even contact  their customer service department by phone.  The only "valid" way to enter an RMA is through their xfxforce.com website where a user has to setup an account and register the products and only then, you can create an RMA ticket.  This is in essence customer avoidance.  They claim that their products are ROHC compliant but I have serious doubts. The materials used to manufacture their video graphics cards are also questionable.  Their video graphics cards may have been tested for display output however, it looks like no one tested them long enough to notice the obnoxious emissions coming out of their video cards.  Functionally, their video cards seems to work fine but the emissions, the fumes make it impossible to sit in front of a computer for any length of time.  Hence, making it a worthless piece of garbage!  Their RMA process was slow and unresponsive at times.   It was not clear as to whether we were dealing with a human behind the responses or a computer And our request for a full refund was declined.  At this point we are getting ready for a class action law suit and searching for a qualified attorney to handle this case...
