I just want to share with readers a clean and quick way I got my refund.

I received my full refund, subject to a 90-day dispute with the credit company. I filed a dispute witn the VISA card company and they conditionally credited my car within minutes. In the meantime they carried on with the dispute process with the merchant.

One has to keep ALL papers such as purchase invoices, relevant pages from the company's website, return carrier invoices, and personal phone records. Prepare and save irrefutable proofs the same manner as in winning in a small claims court. Keep in mind all transactions will be carried out in the mail (or phone) if the credit card company asks for it.

I returned the antenna with the RMA #, and I was told twice ten days apart by Customer Service that the refund was being credited to my card, but it never came. Something was fishy and I had enough of this. So I called up my credit card company.

As it stands I was recently notified by my credit card company 90 days later that the $144.95 credit I received is now permanent.

This has been going on and on for years and accumlating negative customer feedback and ill-will

This is indeed an unusual company. We have the field office employees sticking their necks out by promising certain dates that our credit cards will be credited on one hand. On the other hand, the credit never comes. This has been going on and on for years and accumlating negative customer feedback and ill-will. It appears to me that the corporate office is making the refunds (if they issue them at all) and the people at Amarillo, Texas do not have control whatsoever. Corporate headquarters might be at a foreign country and culturally do not understand the American business practice of a refund. In fact they possibly haven't seen the negative feedback at this or the BBB site (http://search.bbb.org/ (search for Xium)).

And why don't their employees leave Xium? Possibly because they are aliens. I don't mean from outer space, but from across the border. They being undocumented, this dishonest work to us is good enough work for them since they have limited freedom outside the company with their bogus work papers.
