XM Brands, LLC, Or XM Labs, One In The Same Ripoff Scam, Charge your Card, Cannot cancel membership Hialeah Florida
This originates from a trial for Acai and Regimex; both of which are dietary supplements. In order to participate and receive your trial of both products, you are required to pay postage in the amount of $3.97. However, when you try to cancel the subscription, they will not allow you to do so. My credit card was charged $220.00.
I called XM and spoke with Leticia. She advised that I did not cancel the trial in time, therefore I was bound by their terms and conditions. However, I had not even received the product at the time my credit card had been charged so how would I know if I liked it or not? If you do not cancel the trial, you are automatically placed on their "autoship". This was in February, 2009. I canceled EVERYTHING!
On 3/11/2009, I received an email stating I would be getting another batch of pills. I called and was again told that my account was canceled and this was just a "glitch" in their system. On 3/27/09, my American Express was charged for this "glitch". On 4/1/09, I called again and spoke with Brandy who, again, said a "glitch" in their system had occurred and I had in fact canceled my accounts in February with Leticia.
Three days ago, on April 6, 2009, I received my pills. It is now 4/11/09, and I have not received the credit on my American Express that I was "guaranteed" I would by Brandy on 4.1.09. I have just called American Express and have opened up a dispute. Once this company gets your credit card information, they will not let go. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS.
