I know there's a lot of other reports on here (and on the web) for XM Labs, but I felt compelled to write one. I had to go through other means of contacting them and I believe their website is REALLY uninformative, so I want to make it easier for people. The easiest way is, of course, to not order or deal with them, but we all fall for stupid things sometimes. I feel really stupid about falling for it.

I ordered from them three days ago and was expecting to only see the $4.95 charge, but was surprised to see a charge of $51.01. I called their number today (since I couldn't over the weekend) and spent 20 minutes listening to music. I had to go to WhoIs.com to find out about who bought the domain name.

Going there has information for the company who set up the XM Labs website, along with 160 other websites that they set up and you might possibly want to avoid. I emailed noc@telecomworldus.com and complained. They called me back from a number, 888-503-5030, and told me to email customersupport@xmbrands.com and have your name and order number and why you want to cancel your order. Apparently the second charge was like when you go to a hotel, just too make sure it's your card, and that it won't stay there. Which seems a little like BS. Why $50? In these economic hard times, I for sure do not want to see random charges like that on my card. And other people have been charged $140. That scares me.

Hopefully I'll know tomorrow if they truly refunded my $51. They'll be receiving another email after a week if they haven't. I don't know if anyone has actually received any product from them. If not, they are surely a scam. But their website is really misleading. I shouldn't have to go to other websites to find other emails and go through a chain of things just to cancel my order. It should be on the website itself.
