I have XM radio in my new car and got 3 months free and liked the radio since I live in a place with almost all Hispanic stations. After the three months XM radio called and wanted us to sign up for another 3 months at $20.95 and it sounded like a good deal as I like the radio service and did it and paid in full with a Master Card. The next month XM calls wanting a new payment and was wandering why and they said it was $20.95 per a month and not for 3 months so I called a supervisor and they did nothing for me so I said fine I'll pay for it and I payed for the other 2 months and was never going to keep them because they lie and can't keep their stories straight. After the three months were up I got an offer in July wanting us to return to them and offered me a portable radio at $8.95 for the 3 months and that the radio will be only $20.00 for the skyfy 3 sounded good did all the information got my car radio for $20.95 per a month and she said I will call back with a conformation number and never heard from her again.
I called trying to find out what happed talk to a guy this time and said the order was never processed and he said do you want to order the radio again and I said yes and he went over the guide lines better than the women and said that the radio was going to be $8.95 per a month with $20.00 for the skyfi three with $14.95 activation and shipping it all came out over $100 dollars by then so I said no I want to talk to a supervisor and did. I told what the original offer was and she said no but she said ok I am going to credit you the 2 months of service at $8.95 the $14.95 activation and the shipping and that we are sorry buy we have to skyfy 3's in stock but we have the xpress EZ for $9.99 so i said fine paid for it again. After 3 weeks of waiting and never got here on time before my long trip finally revived a radio but it was the Skyfy 3 that I had ordered from the lady and not the Xpress EZ of what I bought so I got the radio activated and it never worked so I RMA'd the darn thing and received the xpress EZ 2 days later and it worked and so I called for a refund of the radio. I received a call a few days later saying I had never paid for the radio and said yes I did and never found the transaction on my credit card so it was escalated and said we would receive a call back in a few business days and never did.
I called back after a few days wanting to know what was going on and said that it was over and that we had to redo the process over again and they told me to not make any payments until this was straightened out. I waited and waited and again never received a call back by this time our radio has been cut several times not and had no signal and had to every time to call and get it back on. A month past and now we had collection agencies threatening us over our bill calling 3 to 4 times a day from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. never could get no sleep. I called back and they said I had to pay $500 hundred dollars or else it will go on my credit and I said no we are going to get this straighted out now or I am getting a lawyer and sew for wrong full information and not keeping track of your payments.
That got their attention and got a hold of a manager an said that we found that your skyfy 3 was returned and that $37.00 was put back into your account and that was not right that only $20.00 was supposed to be put back in their and I was not supposed to ow all that amount but made me pay the $37.00 but was only supposed to be $17.00 dollars I had to pay. I then got a zero balance on my account but no for long. After a while I ended up owing $400 dollars on nothing took a month to dispute and finally said I am going to a life time account forget this monthly mess and I did in January of 2010. I made my first payment then I stopped after not receiving a statement for February so I called and said i couldn't make the payment until the statement got in bull crap.
March came same thing no statement no payment got disconnected went into dispute again got radio reconnected then they said a whole lot of crap that you had to be with us for a year to get the lifetime subscription and you have not that was a lie we have been so in June of this year we finally disputed all charges but lost our lifetime subscription and lost a month payment of $165.00. I called and told then I wanted back on the radio and they said it was going to be $600 dollars because it had to restarted on payments since we didn't make our first payment every month and again got told bull crap that we had to have a card on file and that it must stay there until all 5 payments were payed so I was going to be out $165 but again threatened lawyer and they came through. I now have the originally price i was offered in January and had the first payment done and put a card on file to make then shut up. I now have no issues except they will not give me back my $17.00 they ow me and am still in call with them now my last payment was due this month and am finally done with XM Radio. Never ever leave a card on file with them they will charge you left and right for things you never authorized if you do keep a close watch on your bank statements or you will be cleaned out.
