Complaint Review: Xo Communications Concentric

Xo Communications, Concentric my established website was corrupted on their system they refused to correct the problem unless I paid their production group to re-do the site and then billed me for a renewal of premium service contract without persmissiion and was told that this was a non-refundable fee. This was done almost one month before the renewal date. Internet California

when I checked my website I found a site which no longer looked like the professional site that was on their system for a long period of time-several years with only minor e-mail address and telephone number changes, always with their assistance.

When contacted they looked at the site and cam back with the reply that I had put in faulty or old code and that nothing that they have done or added to their system would have altered the site. They offered to fix the site by providing their production service with a fee of about $500.00. I declined their service.

Later I went to enter the control for the site but my pass word which had worked a few days before would not let me in. Therefore, I got a new pass word and I could see the space used, the number of hits ,etc. when I left the admin. site my e-mail pass word was gone. I called again and when they could not get a new pass word because of some technical error on my account, The agent said that they could not fix it until the next day. When I tried the e-mail late in the evening of the next day I still could not access my mail or send any out.

At the same time they billed my credit card for premium service for the next 12 months with a non-refundable fee almost one full month in advance of the renewal date without permission. I was told the management might refund this fee, If they did it would take two or three billing cycles before it would possibly take place. When you deal with XO communications it is impossible to speak to a manager. I quit them after 10 years of having them host a website.
