XP Medic Or Backup Patrol dishonest, non-working software, non-supportive, Takes your money and runs Internet
I purchased this software from xp medic thinking it would help with my computer freezing up. Their ad states that the product will help your computer by giving you a free diagnisis with complete report on any bugs, errors and problems it finds. They state on their website that xp medic is specifically designed to eliminate crashes in computers using the Windows xp operating system. From system slow downs to continual crashing and error messages, xp medic will quickly repair your xp os with just a click or your mouse. Sounded just what I needed.
The problems is once you start to use this to find out your problem your computer freezes even more so you think it is your computer and you buy the product. You soon find out it is not your computer having the problem but the software. You can not get anyone to help they will not send you a reply only that they have received your email and someone will get back with you. That is a lie.
After several attempts, nothing nothing nothing.... you cant get your money back or support. Don't buy this product. you are just throwing your money away. The other reports here are all the same we have all gone through every avenue there is to get satisfaction.

XPMedic has finally sent me a refund. Funny thing is, they sent it to my employers email address which I use at work and have sent them quite a few emails. That wouldnt be the funny part, that part is I sent them copies of my paypal account were they took the payment to begin with.
My employers email had nothing to do with it or the company but that email address does have an paypal account also.. Dont figure. But I have transfered the money to my account so it would seem they have at least tried to redeem themselves after months of trying.
They have stated they are working on the unlock key of the product an hope to get it fixed. I hope so for all the others out there that would like to try the product. As for me I am staying away.
