Juan Lopez "Owner" of Xtreme Marine of is currently under investigation for deceptive business practices, giving false statements to police and charging a customer credit card without their consent, which constitutes larceny. In addition, he attempted to extort money from a customer by overcharging them twice the amount due to release his boat.

Malibu boats has dropped them from selling their boats however they still service the Malibu brand. There should be a new Malibu Dealer this year in the area that can give proper service to the brand.

Feel free to post any outcome here. I will stay in touch with my attorney to make sure he stays on top of this case. I'm sure there are more people out there that have been taken advantage of by this company. God only knows how many people were overcharged and didn't even know it. Also people should look at their credit cards that they used at this place to make sure they were not charged for things they didn't authorize.

This is a lesson on how not to run a business people. When you hire shady people like John Shepard, your just looking to go out of business. But then again, I guess water seeks it's level with Mr. Lopez being the owner.
