There are underage players trolling for sex.
There are people trolling for underage sex partners
At Yahoo this is a re-accurring problem with their chat rooms, message board, etc etc. With all the chat booters and hackers getting online in the chat rooms to create havoc with chatters online. Yahoo users don't stand a chance.
these chat rooms are pathatic. All I see a pool of garbage in yahoo chat rooms. People calling you every name in the book. They swear they cuss. They attack other chatters with slanderous assaults, with lies and libelous statements. Scam merchants spamming the rooms, Pornogrophy merchants peddling sick stuff. The booters and hackers have overrun the Yahoo chats. My GOD!!! Its a stinking free for all. I am Just outraged that this goes on daily. I have a petition campaign at petitiononline to have The Yahoo Inc. staff their chats with monitors.
I then come under a severe assault with with a few chatters forging my name with slander and sick pathatic lies. Those two people that did it are now under investigation by the FBI for forgery and identity theft using my email address addys for forgery etc. etc.
Yahoo Inc. should be investigated by the FBI for aiding and ebetting criminal activity. They should be reported to the FTC for allowing people to promote there scams on their chat rooms, message boards etc. etc.
Yahoo has a completely lack of disregard for its users and should be held accountable for it. If this is not resolved real soon. I will delete all of my Yahoo accounts and I suggest others do the same.

I have been to Yahoo Chat and been in Christian Chat rooms. And some others. The peddlers of Porn make no exceptions of what rooms they sell in. When people complain about the abuse or the porn, they say just ignore them, put them on ignore, they would mess-up the software the system would prevent it, they would Instant message people and if you removed the IM, the screen would flash and be blank for a moment. one time I left Yahoo, all chat rooms, people would showup, they were not on my list of buddies. One time my screen keep flicking, and a message wrote can I visit your files and look at them, it had the ID of some person of sex, in the name, not from Yahoo Provider. Now I make sure I exit Yahoo, not just leave a chat room. If you complain about the abuse or porn how is someone forgiven if they stop.
Some people there, the intent is to scare or annoy others, makes people mistrust others yet some people are always that way. Some annoy to get attention because it there way of begging, they find it hard to get someone interested, I can see its very difficult, it can be, to find some to write with.
If I or you or others complain about it they think they have a right to do it and think we are silly. I have many women as buddies on my buddy list, I prefer it that way. I made sure they ask me, I did not force them, they come out of nowhere, some are beggers of money, if they are men pretending to women I don't know. I'm not a Sex crazed scam. I'm too smart to be that stupid.
I don't know there age until they tell me and I'm concerned that they may hate me for my age sometimes, writing is fun to learn, and people are hard to write to, abuse is wrong, I can't be sex crazed person with a scam. I think some kids are fun to talk to, I don't know there age until they tell me there age, some have better manners than adults, and some worse than some adults.

If Yahoo chat rooms are sooooo horrible .... sooooo painful .... so detrimental to your psychological health .... then why not discontinue visiting them? Obviously, if you stop going into these chat rooms then the problem will completely resolve itself. There are millions, if not billions, of other chat rooms on the internet today. Perhaps you will find one more suited to your tastes. May I suggest Grandparent Chat, which never contains any of the "offensive" dialogue like that which you mention here. Common topics often include knitting, talk radio, foods that do not require teeth to eat, and incontinence relief methods.
