I signed up for a seven day 'free trial' - on the fifth day I cancelled...

When I looked at my bank statement and saw I was being charged for a service which I had cancelled, I notified them via their email address to immediately cancel and refund my $24.95... they requested additional informaton, I responded.

The next month, they debited my account again... I tried to call their phone number listed on my account 866-458-8744 - it rang and rang and rang - obviously nobody minding the store...

My queries are met with requests for more information... it seems to be a no-win situation and to date I am out over $239.

Their last charge was for $49.90, and they seem to have open access to my account.

Theirs appears to be a fraudulent operation and I notice from other Rip Off Reports that others have experienced similar circumstances. Yahoo Personals needs to be put out of business. My next course of action is to notify the FTC and the internet fraud division of the FBI. You can be sure that I will refer the authorites to the other reports on Rip Off Report.

Also, if there's a lawfirm or an attorney out there who would like to take Yahoo Personals to court in a class action suit, I would be more than happy to be the plaintiff. Pleae contact this website to put you in touch with me.
