We bought a vacation package from Yahoo/Travelocity on March 24, 2004 for a trip travel on July 3, 2004 through the Internet, including the Travel Protection Plan. They billed us right away and we paid them in full even before the travel date. After that we never heard from them again. We assumed that everything was OK until the day we showed up at the IAD airport to check-in and found out that the flight that we were supposed to be in didn't have our names on the passengers list. They told us our flight had been changed and we needed to be check-in at Washington National Airport instead. Our whole itinerary was changed without any email notification from Yahoo/Travelocity.

Our vacation was ruined because of all the hassle they put us through. I came back from the trip and sent email to their customer care relation about their unprofessional and inconsiderated business, but all they did was trying to get away from their own mistakes. All I needed was an email to notify us in advance of any changes to our trip and they couldn't even do that. I wrote this letter to warn other innocent people who might be trapped into doing business with YAHOO/TRAVELOCITY and end up like us - very unhappy and frustrated customers.
