My company had a seven web sites, both public and private (used for back office functions) that were cancelled for reasons that I have been unable to find out after numerous calls for the past 5 days. Not only did we lose our web sites, but we also lost all email capabilities with our customers and vendors. As result, for the past 5 days the busiess has been almost totally paralyzed. There customer service representatives have provided me with 3 different emails to communicate to because there is NO telephonic contact available with the department that is responsible for the shut down of my company sites and email. After 5 days and many promises from CS representatives I was finally able to contact an alledged CS representative who did return my call from 503-615-3600 who stated that he would contact the appropriate department that would email me soon. However, as of this time I have had NO reply.

My company was not involved in any questionable business nor in violation of any spamming laws since we use another agency for our emails than is compliant.

How a company can totally shut down another organization without notice or reason defies all logic and business sense. The customer service is horrendous and the fact they do not want telephonic contact with their various departments speaks for itself. If you know of anyone who is considering setting up a business web site with this company please warn them. A business that I spent three years and thousands of dollars to develop is know dead in the water because of Yahoo's business practices, policies and procedures. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Silicon Valley, Inc. and the Federal Trade Commission. If anyone else is aware of similar incidents please advise me to determine if legal actions can be pursued.

YAHOO (No ACTION, No SERVICE, No Response or Communication)

After 3 weeks of attempting to get some reason why my web services were terminated without warning or notice I have obtained services from another hosting agency.

I have called and emailed YAHOO web business services everyday and sent follow up emails as instructed by Customer Service Superviors and have received ZERO responses.

I was provided a phone number for the Yahoo Legal Department and have received NO response from them either.

I strongly advise that if you are considering setting up a business web site and/or email with YAHOO that you reconsider. They have the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced. In addition, they have no escalation process and will say anything to get you off of the phone. There actions, or worse, lack of action is indefensible.
