Complaint Review: Yak Communications

I recently had a charge on our phone bill for something called "Thuraya." I called to investigate this matter and we came accross YAK Communications. They told me that I had viruses on my computer, and that my computer was highjacked to make dial up and make these calls. And since we are responsible for protecting our computer, we must pay these charges.

That is not right, because we do have virus protection on our computer. They have a deliberate automatica dialer program that dials without you even knowing, and that is how it was done, not by highjackers.

I am currently disputing this charge with YAK. My local phone company will not make me pay this because they know it is a scam. So hopefully this will not go any further.
