I bought a cell for my MacBook from them. Their price was average but they promised a three year warrenty. Cell came quickly and worked fine...for the first 2 weeks. I left positive feedback. Then my laptop wouldn't charge. Emailed them. They responded with a claim number and said to take it to the mac store to make sure it wasn't the computer. OK. Did that. Mac store ran diagnostics and said battery was defective.  Emailed Laptopz and gave them the news. Next they asked for Ebay number. OK. Next they needed a bunch of numbers off of the battery and the laptop. Did that.  Long silence. By now (a few months) it is holding charge for even less time. Tried to get them to respond. Crickets. Over the course of several months, repeated cycle of them asking for various numbers I had already given them. No response to any correspondence so I call Ebay. Ebay says I am past the 45 day period that I can file a complaint, but they give me a phone number. Disconnected.  I get online and find a few other names and numbers. Finally get a recording that says to email them. Ten months later. Battery completely useless. Tied to a wall outlet if I use my computer.

Ebay knows they are ripp off artists but I guess they make too money off of them to stand up for the buyers. Shame on Ebay!!  I called Paypal.  She looked up the company and said that I was not the first to call with this problem and they are "under investigation" and may "loose their PayPal account privliges". Even thugh I was past the statute of limitations Paypal said I made every effort and since I wasn't a habitual troublemaker, being a buyer and a seller since 2006, they refunded my money and threw my complaint on the pile.

Morals of the story:

1) Ebay can be bought and sold.

2) Beware of companies from foreign countries selling on ebay.

3) Google the seller before you buy. There are numerous complaints about Yall, Inc. and Laptopz and several other names they do business under. If only I had looked. If it seems too good to be true...it probably IS!

4) Paypal knows the meaning of customer service. I have heard many negative things about PayPal over the years, but they really stepped up. Hope she wasn't lying about investigating Yall Inc. and terminating their relationship. I would like to think someone out there has integrity. EBAY, are you listening?
