Yellow Page Directories In Irving, TX Is A Scam!!!    

    I recieved a piece of mail which states, "This is not a bill". It claims to be from Yellow Pages Directories.  The page says nothing about any charges and instead just asks to verify the business information or to change it.  Since the information is the same information I had on yp.com I verified it and sent it in happily confirming my address.

    Then came the fun part... I start getting letters asking me for money for this ad. I can't find the ad. They have no website. They had no email address. (In retrospect I feel very foolish to have not seen any of this information but you just sort of ASSUME that the company is going to have that). The company now wants to charge me $298.00........... PER QUARTER!!! The actual piece of paper that you sign has no billing charges mentioned unless you want priority listing ($30.00 per Quarter) and/ or bold listing (15.00 per quarter).  There is no mention of money anywhere on this page.The company keeps sending me letters and is now trying to add late charges to the money. 

Hello, Hello, Hello Where is My Ad???

     Do a search on Google for "Yellow Page Directories in Irvine, TX." (Without the quotes) and you will see that they have no website. They have no physical location, and no publicly listed telephone number. What yellow page directories would not have a public telephone number????? The name Yellow Page Directories and The logo used make this look like the company was a part of the yellow pages. They are not part of the yellow pages. I dont believe that any such listing actually exists other than the ad which I had already placed on yp.com. Stay away from this company. I'm prepping for something stupid like them trying to make me go to court in some faw away state. If I do end up in court I am bringing in a copy of exactly what I signed and I will countersue for travel expenses and lost business time.
