On June 2, 2016 my company was invoiced for the following:
Landing Page(Contact Information with Business Description, Logo, Links to the customer website & email)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for up to 20 keywords
Search Engine Submission
Totaling $695.99.
My company never authorized any such services! I filled a complaint with the BBB and the company never responded to their attempts to contact them.
I finally recieved a phone call from a lady named Cheryl from their "accounting dept", and I told her that we never authorized nor needed or wanted their services. The lady proceeded to tell me that the owner of my company verbally authorized the listing. I informed her that the owner of the company did not authorize any such listing. She began to state that they had a voice recording of the owner authorizing the renewal of the listing.
Here is the kicker, the owner of the company has never had a listing of any sort advertising online, let alone authorized a listing that costs anything much less $695.99!
I told her that we would not be paying the invoice, by the way that looks like a 5th grader created with the incorrect capitilization as well as misspelt address on the return envelope.
