I posted negative reviews on this horrible dog trainer. There were several other 1 star reviews on this guy in addition to mine. The atrocious dog trainer threatened me with a lawsuit. That didn't work, so my guess is he turned to YELP or rather they solicited him and he paid. All of sudden the negative reviews started to disappear and 5 star reviews took their place. These supposed customers all joined YELP within 2 days of each other and they all only had one other businesss reviewed. I think it is strange that within 2 days this notoriously abusive dog trainer went from having a 2 star average to a 4 star average.

Do not trust YELP reviews. They remove legitimate reviews and let illegitimate ones remain. There is a conflict of interest when a website that claims to be by real people takes money from the businesses these supposedly "real people" have reviewed. I personally won't use YELP and think it is a big scam.

Same thing happened with me!

Same thing happened with me.  I filed a complaint against an orthodontist that ripped me off of $560 and it showed up for a couple of weeks and then was removed by Yelp.  I followed all their guidlines so I guess the orthodontist just paid off Yelp to get it removed I think he had his office employees write favorable reviews.  Yelp is prostituting themselves.
