YELP YELP uses broken filtering systems to remove legitimate reviews and refuses to address the problem. Internet
Yelp refuses to modify their filtering system to permit legitimate, professional reviews to show...even when the reviews are verifiable. Nor will they entertain any requests to address the problem. Instead, they permit anonymous people to write whatever they want, not taking into consideration any other factors. There is no protocol, verification or anything else to legitimize the reviews on professional businesses. As a result, Yelp inadvertantly destroys small businesses. Yelp should take a clue from websites such as zillow for lessons on how to ensure reviews are professional, legitimate and dignified.

it's a good point. but at least this website is not an actual rating system where anyone can make a page for you and you cant delete it. and also, this website does not have a conflict with soliciting advertising in relation to changing how they filter your ratings. finally, without this website, we would have no way to complain about businesses like YELP.
