Complaint Review: Yenis Roofing & Blacktop Repair

We hired Yenis roofing to install a 30-year roof on our home. After they removed the old shingles they left nails & debris on our lawn & in our flowerbeds. After they put down the underlayment they disappeared for several months. After repeated calls to the owner, they arrived with a roofing crew & finally put on our roof. After the first rainfall we noticed wet spots on the ceiling in the livingroon near the fireplace. Obviously the flashings were not installed correctly. We tried for months to get Yenis roofing back to fix the leak but they have ignored us. The owner is the rudest, most profane man we've ever met. He was extremely cocky & loud. He maintained the roof was installed correctly even knowing it was leaking. We eventually hired a handyman to fix their screw up. We have since filed a claim on our homeowners insurance to repair the wet insulation & drywall. I'm 74 years old. I have hired many contractors over the years. Yenis Roofing is the worst, most dishonest, rudest contractor I've ever dealt with. Stay away from them. They are no good. The owner is not trustworthy. Excuses, Delays, Broken Promises, Lies is what you will get. You've been warned.
