I met Jay Keith on January 1st. He sold me a dream just like he did with other people. I wish I would have read this report before I paid him $3000. He talked as if everyone else was the problem but Jay is definitely the problem. He's a very good talker. He charged me $3000 to build me a website, host it for 1 year, a thirty minute commercial, construction of my logo and a one year business plan. None of these got done. He told me he would be done with my website in 1 week. When I kept asking him about it he started to get disrespectful and loud with me. He kept saying "this is why I don't want to work with our people anymore." Our people meaning black people. But when he came to my salon on January 1st he was telling my clients and I that he loves to help our people and doesn't know why we don't work together more often.
After 2 weeks of no progress I told Jay that I no longer wanted to work with him because I could see that Jay really did not know what he was doing. He might be good at other things but building a website was not one of them. I showed him a site of another hairstylist that I liked and he copied her format and made it mine. But Jay told me he was building it from scratch and that's why it was taking so long. After I asked for my money back Jay told me that a website cost $3000 and since he's been working on it for 2 weeks he's not giving me anything back. I told him our contract states that the website portion was roughly $250 and I was willing to let him keep that even though he did nothing. After that phone call Jay went MIA.
I called him everyday for 2 weeks and he never returned any phone calls. I'm in the process of taking him to court now. I felt the need to write this because it's crazy to me that Jay took the time to respond to all these reports but he can't find the time to return a phone call or respond to a certified letter. Jay is a liar and a thief and he will be stopped. He belittles people and says how they can't afford his services but I paid Jay exactly what he asked for so I'm confused why the job didn't get done. Maybe because he didn't know what he was doing from the very beginning. He tries to look like a big corporation but he's the only person working. I was upset reading how negatively he talked about his previous clients when he sleeps in his Mom's basement on a matress. How dare he talk down to anyone. He scams people and thats how he gets by. I'm not going to stop until Jay Keith is stopped. Anyone interested in joining in on a lawsuit please contact me. If you had any show with him I would know who you are. Because for the past year I Jamal has been scamming me and many more actors working on his movie that will never see the light of the day.

It is very easy to type a negative comment. A contract means service and payment. When the client does not honor the obligation to pay in full you cant retaliate by talking bad about the business.
I have worked with Mr. Keith over the past 20 years in music, film and engineering.
The service was complete and evidence is on online showing the final work that was done by Mr. Keith in regards to this situation.
Experience and education is earned no matter where a person lives . Good or bad has nothing to do with the talent.
People today think they are experts in everything. Give credit to the professionals. I am just upset that in this day and time posting negative comments to hurt a business is a persons way to not finish paying for service.
Sometimes businesses get caught up under charging services to help small business. Well I am glad that Mr. Keith will be producing my new T.V Show!

Hi! So glad to see someone has recently checked in on reports for Jay Keith, and this animal needs to be caged, muzzled, and caged in prison away from people especially WOMEN and CHILDREN. and it would happen best if we could all unite against him...i mean "it".

Every once in a while I check ripoff report to see if anything new on Jay Keith surfaces. And well, today, I see this. A new complaint, new victim to the fraudulence and thievery of Jamal Keith aka Jay Keith has come. Just to reiterate, you are apart of an ever growing ring of individuals who have been conned by Jay Keith. Your experiences mirror my own as well others I have spoke to and interacted with. The disrespect, lies, scam, and utter ridiculousness surrounding the man must be put to a end.
