Yorkilicous/Puppylicous Deceptive Practice- Do not buy teacup yorkies from this company Aventura Florida
I purchased a teacup yorkie from a women addressed as Susan of Yorkilicous in Aventura, Florida. I first asked if the she had the parents and she said yes. When I had gotten to the boutique the parents weren't there Susan
phoned her husband to bring one of the dogs suppossedly the mother. I put the puppy up to the so called mother to see how she would re-act. The mother didn't want to have anything to do with the puppy. I am questioning
where did this puppy come from and what are the parents. Susan told me that she had a puppy lemon law and would be responsible for the puppy for 1 year and that she was a breeder and the puppies were AKC she would file the papers.
The day I purchased the puppy was Feb. 14th, 2009 and today is May 13th, 2009 after numerous phone calls no return call. I haven't received the AKC papers and I didn't find her to be a breeder on the AKC website.
Susan guaranteed that the puppy wouldn't get bigger than 3lbs and she is 5 months at 2.5lbs. I thank God she appears to be healthy, but probably not a purebreed and not registered as AKC for the fee of $1,000.00.
After investigating on the internet of course after the fact I find a photo of a women that the news channel had done a story on and it looks just like Susan. Her name is Julie Soutullo at the same business in which I had purchased my puppy. I find this whole thing to be one big lie. Why is she still in business. In a conversation I had with Susan on the day I went to get my puppy she was telling how she shut down a guy who was not a breeder and selling puppies that weren't teacups . I will say that the place was clean and looked the part.
Please make these people accountable for their actions. I paid sales taxe to Yorkilicous has she reported that? My check read Yorkilicous and the paperwork she filled out stated Puppylicous.
