Mrs. Allison Young, the owner/operator, is very unprofessional.

From the beginning she showed bad business sense. I spoke with her and made an appt. to see her to have a tour of the childcare facility for my son and stepdaughter to go to for the after-school program. When me and my fiancee arrived, she wasn't there. Her husband Kevin was there, clueless of the appt., but still showed us around.

He couldn't answer most of our questions, and seemed pretty clueless about everything. He showed us the gym, classrooms, the game room, library and computer area and said that's where the kids spend there time.

As time passed, we come to find out the after-school program kids are confined to a dimly lit, excessively hot gymnasium for the two-three hours they are there. And on days when school was cancelled and they went there, they spent the WHOLE 8-9 hours in that gym, with only a few basketballs and a jungle gym for all the kids to share. They never had access to the other areas in the facility.

And any time you had a question or concern about the facility, you'd have to leave a message for Allison, who wouldn't call you back until days or a week later, if at all. Her husband Kevin, as usual, never had any answers and couldn't help you. He'd always say he'd have to ask Allison and have her contact me.

In the end, when I decided to take my son out of the facility and my fiancee took his daughter out, it took a week to get a call back to have them disenrolled.

Then she told my fiancee he could post-date a check for his final payment, which he did, he post-dated it for his next pay date. Then Allison cashed the check two days before the date he put on the check, overdrawing my fiancee's account and costing him a $30 fee.

When he went to the facility to talk to her about it, of course she wasn't there, she was never there. But another one of her un-informed employees was able to get her on the phone for my fiancee to speak with. As they talked, she proceeded to get an attitude with him and refused to refund him the $30 fee she caused him to have because she misled him and cashed his check prior to when she had agreed to.

I think this is very bad business, it seems like Mrs. Allison Young is just all about collecting money, and doesn't put any concern into how her facility is run.
