I also applied for a amex card in return of a $50 gift certificate from Yourgiftcards.com. This was in 12/16/03. I then tried to get in contact with them via website and got this message a month later......

"Yourgiftcards.com has not yet received notification of your approval from your sponsor application. For this reason, your Gift card status is "In Progress". Please keep in mind that our sponsors may take from 6 - 8 weeks to report to us,so please bear with us. Once your status in the Account tab has changed to "Approved", you can click on the "Approved" button. This will generate an email containing a certificate link to the email address you provided us when you first signed up. Upon receipt of the email, you will click on the certificate link inside the email and input your shipping address. You will print this information and mail it to the address below. Then, we will send your gift card to you. We will make our best efforts to fulfill your request, but please allow at least 6-8 weeks for processing and delivery. Yourgiftcards.com Gift Center Post Office Box 39052 Mountain View, CA 94039-0520 If you did not get your confirmation email, use the following URL to set up your username and password. This will also act as your confirmation email."

Well its now March 8th. After several more emails, which were not responded to,.....my account status is still pending which is the very first part of process. It has been almost 3 months and no results. Luckily, i have documentation to pursue this scam site. Its unbelievable that companies like MSN and AMEX would peddle this s**t. Keep Posting!
