Complaint Review: Youthful Always You Support@youthut

I responded to a 30 day free trial of Belle Epoque eye cream and was told I'd be billed only for shipping.  I was charged $99.01 on my credit card.  I spoke to a representative who asked if I had reported this to my bank and I said not yet. He then offered to cancel my account and refund me 35% of my purchase. He told me I would receive emails to this effect. 

I called later, as I had received no emails, and spoke to a different representative.  She told me that, by agreeing to the free trial, I had agreed to the terms of the offer which meant that I would have to pay $99.01 for the trial eye cream and would be receiving an additional bottle of eye cream every month for $99.01.  She also told me that emails take 24 hours to receive.

I informed the representative that this is a scam and patently ridiculous.  She was very rude and said that I had a legal commitment and was not due any refund.  Needless to say, I have received no emails.  I was assured that my "account" was cancelled.

I have now had to cancel my credit card as they used the number to bill me for something called Glimmerette skin cream.  I could not locate this via an internet search. 

I warn people to beware of any free offer online!  This ad looked perfectly legitimate and it is an unmitigated fraud which has cost me many hours to resolve if it is indeed successfully resolved.
