I, too, was sent a document stating that I could receive free advertising through Yellow Pages Online Services and that I only needed to confirm that my information was correct.  There was no mention of a fee for this service.  I read the correspondence front and back.  To my surprise, I was sent a bill for over $300.00.  I promptly wrote CANCEL all over the bill and mailed it back to the company.  I thought that this was the end of it until Jan. 2015 at which time I received an email from Malvin Sando telling me that I had to pay by Feb. 6 or the bill would be sent to collections.  I promptly called him and was only greeted by his voicemail.  I left a message and responded to his email.  I still have not received a return call from Mr. Sando.  In the meantime, I received another bill in the mail at which time I wrote CANCEL again and mailed it back to the company.

Now, fast forward one month, I received another email from Jennifer Stallings with "Davis and Jones" regarding the unpaid invoice. She sent me a copy of the signed form but conveniently, it mentions a "Detach This Portion and Return With Payment" at the bottom.  While my signature is there, this is clearly not the form I signed.  I actually have a witness who was with me when I signed the form and reviewed it with me.  Ms. Stallings was so kind to send me forms to withdraw the money from by bank account or pay with a credit card.  The fee is now $361.  I again, promptly responded to her email advising her that she needed to refer to the multiple cancellation requests regarding this matter.  I also advised her that the signed form did not make mention of a fee and that I would be contacting an attorney regarding this matter.

I really hate that I did not research the company before but they represented themselves as "Yellow Pages" which has been a reputable company to my knowledge.
