Ypedia Yellow Pages for the Digital Ages Deceptive Adertising; Yellow Pages Scam Coppell Texas
We received a letter in the mail that appeared to be from the actual Yellow Pages asking us to confirm our the details of our company's listing and stating that "This Is Not A Bill". A few weeks later we receive an invoice asking for $329 from what also looks like the Yellow Pages.
Of course this is a bit confusing since we never signed up for any paid services from the Yellow Pages. A simple search led to YPmedia and what seems to be a stream of complaints against the company for pretending to be the official Yellow Pages and charging unsuspecting businesses for an unknown listing. This is completely intolerable and a waste of time to have to be dealt with. I simply want my charges waived and our listing to be taken off the site, plain and simple.
