YRC Freight They change the measurements of the crate and put it in a different class. I have pictures to prove it. Overland Park Kansas
My company used YRC Freight for about 30 years. But lately, I got invoices to pay extra fees because the size of the crates are different than I indicated.
I started to measure the crates by myself, I checked the size twice, and to my surprise, I got an extra invoice to pay an extra $254.96 to my shipped item, freight bill number 697-835289-7 Because according to them the crate was about 3" larger, what is not true. After that incident, I made numerous pictures of my next shipment, showing the measuring tape at the sides of the crate. And again I got an extra invoice from YRC Freight that the side of the crate was 19.5". My pictures clearly show that the actual size is 16.5". My freight bill number for this crate is 697-833975-1 and YRC Freight wants me to pay an extra $63.68 for this shipment because with the larger size they put it in a higher class.
For the freight bill number 697-835289-7 I asked the president of the YRC Freight and the director of the customer service of YRC Freight to help me with the dispute. But they declined it. I have the signed signatures on my certified mail to them that they received my mail.
