I contacted Yummy end of October/November to notify them that I was experiencing shedding with the 3 bundle purchased I had just purchased four months prior...not a little...A LOT. Like brush loads. My full 3 bundles felt like a 2 bundle. My sister noticed my weave looked "thin", that's how noticeable it was. When I called Yummy, I spoke to a young lady on the phone who took my information down and was promised a
call back by a manager. I had unexpected health issues that presented itself & was back and forth in the er and drs. I was also expecting my first niece on the way, so I had a full plate. I waited a month...and
NO CALL. The first week of
December, 8th, I emailed the company to complain and again...
NO RESPONSE. At this point I was beyond disgusted as I've never experienced such unprofessionalism.
I took my frustration to Yummy's IG three day's later. Mysteriously someone chose to suddenly reply
on the 11th. I sent pictures of the before, after, the globs or hair on brush, and even offered a video. Te Yummy rep, who I will spare and remain nameless, sent me a brief email, offered to send me curly hair tips on why my curly hair was shedding as "there are numerous reasons why curly hair sheds" and a "discount towards the next purchase". Hmmm..
TIPS???
WHY IS MY HAIR SHEDDING IN FOUR MONTHS. IT SHOULD LAST A YEAR. NOT JUST ME...MANY OTHERS? I DON'T NEED HAIR TIPS. DO I LOOK LIKE AN AMATEUR? TAKE RESPONSIBILITY SOMETIMES? MAYBE YOU SENT A BAD BATCH? YOU DO RUN OUT ALL THE TIME. MAYBE I GOT THE SCRAPS. WHEN I ORDERED YOU DIDN'T HAVE ANY. OR DID YOU SEND US A BAD BATCH? OR IS THIS NOT AUTHENTIC 100% VIRGIN HAIR NOT FROM CHINA? How about using different girls? A customer of the month? Post different customers and and a contest for customers who actually WEAR your hair...don't constantly change it with other companies and support you? A different face. Not people who want get popular.
I sent an email
December 12th, asking about the discount I was being offered.
NO RESPONSE. We were blessed with my beautiful niece on Xmas and the holidays came...I took the weave out cuz the shedding was making me depressed and Yummy's customer lack of care was pissing me off so I wore my own natural hair. Thank God I have nice long thick hair. Once things calmed down
I contacted Yummy again this week...guess what?
NO REPLY. It's been 3 months now of attempted communication and all I got was a phone call answered and an email response. I don't ever write on these forums but I feel so disrespected, especially after my email to them in December and this week....and they had the audacity to ignore me AGAIN. And to see online the various complaints after almost letting my blood pressure rise yesterday, that this is what they do, I just had to vent.
By the way, that's what I've been getting treated for, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND HEART PALPITATIONS (I have proof, and even had to wear a heart monitor for this). I'm a young girl with unexpected pressure and you're adding to my stress which I do not need. This is terrible and so disrespectful. I've never been treated by a company this way. I didn't spend $50 nor $100.
I spent about $700, in addition to 2 installations in less than four months...and that was thanks to you Yummy. And now I would have to spend almost $700 again plus another install?
**On my first install I asked Yummy for a referal as I did not want to mess up the hair cuz it's so d**n expensive and wanted a top personal to install it. I thought I was going to come out looking like Beyonce! I won't like it looked good for a week, BUT the weave was loose. Instead of being mad I kindly asked her to stitch it and tighten it for me...the girl had an ATTITUDE. Why are you mad if you don't know what you're doing? I gave the d**n girl a $30 tip when I paid her! You better fix my hair. And I traveled far. Two bridges and to the heart of the HOOD and gas. What a nightmare. I had to redo my hair a month later...elsewhere. This was NOT A YUMMY EXPERIENCE.
Yummy seems to have over 10 plus complaints on major sites...over the same things. Either they're not listening to the customers, or don't care. And ignore us.The same way they have a loyal customers is the same they should return the same loyalty and courtesy back to us.If we don't have a Youtube videos promoting them or write reviews we don't get top notch treatment? Seems they only care about their Youtube gurus and who they send free hair to so they can market their product. The sad thing is when you're trying to decide to purchase hair, you so d**n confused cuz you see the same chick with 5 different companies on her head. What kind of marketing is that? We wear your hair longer than them. They only wear their hair on IG for a quick picture op!
If Yummy is going to brand their product on their website "we're buying
100% RAW AUTHENTIC VIRGIN HAIR" they need to stand by it's
certificate of authenticy, gurantee it and comply with the quality of the product. Virgin Hair does not hair should not shed in abundance, tangle nor mat and Yummy should uphold their statement, reputation and their name and most of all a client relation.
Yummy doesn't label their extension like most companies with names like Malasian, Brazilian...etc.
BUT in the bottom of each product page they do the reverse the wording a bit and state their
"hair is not from China" for another one of their product they say
the hair is
"authentic RAW hair sourced from several Russian Federation countries". In various complaints many customers have asked for the
certificate of authenticity (to back this up). After researching last night...not all company have this. Yummy makes a statement but I did not see a mention on your site nor mailed one with the product.
There is no proof that my hair is 100% virgin, not from China, or the others from "Russian Federation and the reason it shed it's because....it's from JAPAN? AFRICA? ITALY?
The million dollar mystery question ...Where is the hair from? The FD&C Act prohibits the distribution of cosmetics which are adulterated or misbranded and must comply with the labeling regulations published by the FDA under the authority of the FD&C Act and the FP&L Act... You can continue to ignore me Yummy. I will take my business elswhere and buy authentic certified product not misbranded nor mislabeled and where I will receive excellent customer service as that should alway be at most importance to a a company's reputation ....CUSTOMER SATISfACTION.
