I was scammed by Yuri Gomez of Mortgage Trust!!!!!!!!!!
There is a subdivision called Reunion, a property by Ginn, where there are multi million dollar houses.
Yuri Gomez was a broker and principal of Mortgage Trust and was promoting how you can close on one of these houses and then leave with over $400,000 at closing. Being a man who does not know the mortgage industry, I trusted Yuri Gomez and purchased one of these million dollar houses. What I did not know was Yuri Gomez and his partner, Steve Barger was pocketing well over $75,000 in false fees and telling me "Just close you are getting $400,000 after closing." I was pressured into closing and then when I got my loan package it showed they ripped me off by taking well over $100,000 in false fees. I tried to contact Yuri and Steve but both refused to answer my calls and now they are out of business!!!! It has been a year now, myself and allot of other people were scammed into this project called Reunion. Not only did they make money, allot of money off my loan on the front end, they made thousands on the back end. Yuri Gomez even asked me if I didn't have the money to show for closing he would loan me the money for a fee. I told him no and closed with my own money at closing. A lot of people I know bought houses in reunion and they all have the same story. Yuri Gomez had connections with builders to sell houses below market value, so Yuri and his company could do the mortgage and make a huge fee. In the process promising people who could not afford these houses hundred of thousands after closing to close the deal. I also found out Yuri Gomez made side deals with everyone including the builder and the poor people who were buying the houses. Yuri would make money from the builder, for selling the house, then make money on the loan, then make money from the person who was getting the mortgage under the table, for not charging them points, so he could hide thousands from his partner Steve Barger and finally make money on the back end of the loan. Now that almost all the loans in reunion that Mortgage trust wrote are now in foreclosure, they closed there doors. I am out thousands, my credit ruined and nothing Gomez said ever happened. Stay away from this guy; he is a scam from start to finish. He is a licensed mortgage broker and is breaking every rule. It can not be legal as a licensed broker to fund people for a proof of funds and take a fee for doing it! Please FBI banking department look into these two guys. I will be filing this report with all the legal entities in Florida. People if you run into either one of these guys, Yuri Gomez or Steve Barger Run they are the biggest scam artists when it comes to mortgages. Just look at sunbiz.org and type in Mortgagetrust lending group and you will see on March 12, 2008 they closed their doors, why I hope it is because they got caught. Don't be scammed by either one of these guys; do not do a mortgage or any type of business with either one of them!!!!

we understand how frustrating may be not undertstanding a mortgage transaction could be however that is no reason to accuse anybody of all of this you are stating.

in 2008 you bought a property in reunion and you hired us to do the mortgage for you, everything  went well and we got you approved for the mortgage, you provided all the documentation yourself and we just processed the information you gave, us, it is customary the bank pays the mortgage broker 2% to 3% commison on the mortgage, at closing you  saw  on the closing statement we were making 2% commission from the bank which on a 2 million dollar house it was about $40,000 dollars, at that point you became irrate and accused us of stealing money from you becasue we were making commisions

our commission was disclosed upfront when we started the process and you knew about it , THERE WAS NO SCAMM OR FALSE FEES, IN FACT YOU PAID NO FEES TO US, ALL WE RECEVIED WAS WAHT THE BANK PAID US FOR DOING THE MORTGAGE

but at closing you started asking for us to give you part of our commission back to pay for your moving expenses which of course we did not do, what the bank pays mortgage brokers in commisions is alreary included in their profits and you as a borrower were not paying for it nor it affected you in any way

after closing you left the office  threatening to go after us for the commissions,we never heard from you again other than this post  which we found on the internet years later., WE HELPED HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE GET THIER DREAM HOME WITH NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL, WHEN THE MARKET CRASH IN 2008 HUNDREDS OF BANKS CLOSED DOWN AND THAT AFFECTED US TREMENDOUSLY SO WE HAD TO CLOSE OUR DOORS LIKE THOUSANDS OF OTHER MORTGAGE BROKERS DID AT THAT TIME.

i hope this clears any doubts about the transaction, all other accusations are all false and there was no side deals, or anything else you describe.

we wish you the best on your future endeavors
