First of all when I intially called Z-Tel they told me my bill would be about $65 a month including taxes. My bill has not been under $140 a month including my $30 a month international calls.

I called Z-Tel September 26 2002 because I did not recieve my September's bill and requested a duplicate. They told me that my October bill was also due. I told them I would write a check by phone for $301.61. They recieved the money on 9/28/02 according to the bank statement.

When my bill for November came I was billed for the $301.61 again. The statement said they submitted the check again on 10/17/02. Their statement stated that the check had been declined for insufficient funds and I was charged a return check fee and finance charges.

I call them on several occassions trying to resolve this problem, even though their computers showed that they recieved the payment and it was posted on 9/30/02. I was told them that they had recieved the payment then I was told that the check was returned. I was told to fax them a copy of my bank statement, I sent it to them. This problem has been going on for several weeks with no resolve.
