My boyfriend bought my engagement ring on Dec 10th 2005, within the first 3 weeks a stone popped out. We brought the ring back, (the sales guy was an unpleasant ***), we exchanged it for another it was still within the 30 days). However, once again within a couple of weeks a FEW stones came loose. This time we "sent it in for repair". It took "10 days". I've had the ring back a week and the stones are all loose AGAIN!! I don't think they ever sent it to repair, I think they just pressed the stones in, and gave it back. They have ruined what was supposed to be something very special. Now it's past the return time and I'm stuck with a very expensive, FLAWED, ring (that spends more time in a box then on my finger!!). Don't buy ANYTHING from them!! They are terrible. I'm going in once again today to deal with them, and will probably be in need of an attorney to help get the issue resolved!!! PLEASE DON'T PUT YOURSELVES THROUGH THIS ORDEAL WITH THIS COMPANY-THE PRODUCTS THEY OFFER MAY LOOK LOVELY, BUT THEY ARE PIECES OF CRAP!! I will post a follow-up of what happens today.

I actually work for this Zales. And I can 1) ASSURE you, we dont "press diamonds" back in...nor do we do ANY of the repairs. We do, however ship our repairs out to a repair guy. 2) It could of been a "defected" ring. I would of just exchanged it for a new one, if the diamond fell out so soon. And you have 90 DAYS to exchange, not 30... 3) Now that its a year later, I would try to "up-grade" your ring, instead of leaving it in the box. If not at my store, then definately at another.

I, too, would be upset if my ring was going in and out of repairs. And i apologize if the sales associate was rude to you, we dont want to drive customers out, we want to resolves the issue. I would of talked to the store manager and see what he/she could of done for you, before totally turning your business away.

I hope in the future you dont totally turn your head away from our store. We ARE making a lot of changes in a good way :)
