Complaint Review: Zeigler Marketing Inc Consumer Survey Specialists Tina Thomas (HR)

The envelope has a stamp of Canada & did not have a return address. It contained a check for $4,885.00 with 'Zeigler's Distributor, Inc' as the payor with an address of 27 Lebanon Valley Parkway, Lebanon, PA 17042. Check shows the Fulton Bank, (no location listed). The cover letter is addressed to me, as is the Check which is also payable to me.
The cover letter describes the position of 'Customer Service Evaluator' with the pay scale for the trainee & salary increase after 6 months. It directed me to to to a Moneygram at any location, pose as a customer & send $4350.00 to Sharon in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I'm supposed to use my last name for Sharon. The fee for this transaction is $135.
Then I'm supposed to complete the 2nd assignment & shop at WalMart, Gap, JC Penny or Sears & spend $100. The remaining $300 is my "probation training pay".
An enclosed Market Response form must be completed & faxed to their office. Before depositing the check, I'm supposed to call their office.

"If it sounds too good to be true...".
My initial investigation included checking Yahoo & Google for info on the Zeigler company and found nothing that would be helpful. After further searching for the Consumer Survey Specialists, where I supposedly signed up for this additional income on a part time basis, I found plenty of info on how this is a SCAM! Found lots on Ripoff Report also! Bank has informed me that this check is fraudulent. Luckily, I checked before depositing, so at this time am not out any money. Everyone needs to know.
