This company hires undocumented workers, falsifies documentation for them under various names and employs them to clean for less than the legal minimum wage.
Many of the employees are given multiple names and social security numbers so they can be worked over 40 hours without paying overtime.
This is the worst violation of labor laws I have ever seen.
As a senior executive I attempted to stop the practice and was thwarted by the president of the company, Henri deLeon.
Companies using this company, Harrah's, MGM Casino's, The Ritz, Loews, etc.
They do business under 2 shell companies, SSC and FSS, both based out of North Miami.

The company was just purchased by Credit Suisse, Henry DeLeon, and Graeme Crothall. Nothing has changed. Its still a revolving door for illegals. They pay employees when they want to....regardless of laws. They also expect you to fund all of your own expenses.....not reimbursing you for any business travel, etc.

Don Horwitz is out on the street...but with bags of cash. The money he stole from Ben Stein and the mob sure helped him hit the big time.

Henry DeLeon is smooth talking sawed off latino who thinks he is Napoleon. Henry still buys his clothes out of the boy's dept at Macy's

How can you run a criminal background check on an illegal alien.

This sounds like the same old garbage the unions preach. Supply and demand.....the wage is relative to the skill. Unfortunately, $8 hour is tops for someone swinging a mop. Those who are willing to learn to speak English, get training, etc. are promoted. Now, you have a former $8 hour janitor who is making 50-65k year.

ICE is a joke,,,,,,where do you want to start? Go to Hilton Head Island, SC. There are 7000 illegal mexicans living on the island. Beufort County just imposed a law stating they would suspend the license of any business using illegal aliens.

Ha Ha Ha...shame on South Carolina. The Westin, Marriott Vacation Club, Hilton, all of the hotels hire illegal aliens through a temp agency, specifically a guy named Derek. Its so bad that many smart couple are forming businesses to make resident alien cards and social security cards. We had one working in our office. The office job was a front. She and her husband made $200 per id.

You are right about everything but I can tell you Henry does not solicit and recruit as you wrote. He isn't that stupid. I know him and have worked with him as well.

Thinking like "Ltown" [above] is the real problem here!

I really hate that saying that you can't get Americans to work, or that illegals do jobs that Americans won't, etc..etc..etc.. That is the biggest cop out and bunch of crap I have ever heard.

The REAL problem is the $8.00/hr part! Its not that Americans will not clean, etc. Most of them won't do it for $8/hr!! That is the issue here. And, I bet it's $8/hr with no benefits! Right? Can YOU live on $8/hr? No, I didn't think so.

Any business that cannot afford to pay a LIVING WAGE needs to be shut down. This is because you are bad for the economy. Your jobs put more people on public assistance and raise taxes, healthcare, CRIME, etc.

Pay a living wage and see how many Americans you have standing in line to do your cleaning.

Sounds like a Union needs to come in and organize your business. What was the name of your business?

Sounds like a competitor to me
Dave is this you? Its no different than making up human resource policies as you go, bouncing checks to employees, not paying employees....what else? Bottom line is that I know these guys and know them well. ICE may be raiding casinos but it isn't because of Henry...spelled with a y. Everyone in this business must use immigrants ......and 99% of them are illegal. Its similar to legalizing marijuana. The price drops. Where are you going to find Americans that will clean on 3rd shift for 8.00 an hour. Americans do not clean...its beneath us.

not sure who dave is...
but here is the problem, the resorts request background checks be done to insure the safety of the patrons. when using undocumented workers there is no documentation. the backgrounds are as false as the id's.
what is the cost of having a pedofile in a hotel?
or worse?
this isn't a small problem, and quantifying it with just dollars belittles the liability and exposure of the resorts.
when you build a $500 million dollar building, you need to be prepared to maintain it. i'm sure the cost of getting documented workers who have passed a background check is much less than the obvious risk.
not to mention hiring illegals is illegal.
this isn't a debate about immigration, it's about illegal practices, RICOH violations and the real threat to the public, the stock holders of the resorts and public relations.
it isn't gray. there is a right and wrong.
and you are admitting and accepting what you know is wrong.
very weak...

SSC and FSS Casino's on the Gulf Coast have been raided 5 times in 6 months.
All for the same pratices, this time I understand fines are being given to the Casino's. This prctice is known and intiated by the senior executives and by people within the Hotels.
Looks like you need to catch-up with the times...ICE has caught up to Henri.

I have known Henry and the company for years and work in the same industry. Sounds like to me that someone got fired and is trying to destroy a company....or maybe a competitor. Henry follows the law and documents according to the I-9........Harrah's wouldn't do business with someone like that and neither would Marriott. This company had to go through an audit just to do business with Marriott. The owners of this company have fought against this type of activity and have spent huge sums of money to prevent this unfair advantage. Do your homework before you make claims such as this.

ONLY signed, written complaints get acted on.

I know for a fact that making a phone call WILL NOT bring action.

Your complaint MUST be IN WRITING, and be SIGNED, and include your contact information so they can validate the complaint.

A phone call is totally useless and a waste of everyone's time and resources.

You could force the issue and have RICO charges brought against the agency and the people who use the workers. It is a clearcut conspiracy to defraud the taxpayers, etc.

Have you

notified authorities about this.

The Department of Homeland Security and ICE would like to know this. Especially if you can substantiate your claims.

Sidebar: why call them undocumented? The are illegal aliens.

The Service Companies, lead by Henri De Leon breaking employment laws

Casinos and hotels require full background checks to protect patrons from harm; imagine the danger of a hotel/casino having a thief, violent criminal, sexual predator or terrorist working on property...when documentation is falsified the background checks can't be done. the opportunity for something horrible to happen is huge.
