Order over $120 of prescription sunglasses. Order was advertised to be 7-10 days. After 20 days, I started emailing and phone the numbers, but did not receive a response until an email about 1 week later. Email said 1 eyewear was being shipped and another was about to be shipped.

Would never order from these people again!

These are the $19 and $49 eyeglasses scam.

The glasses are not the right prescription, I had to go to Walgreen's and buy more reading glasses instead.

Just threw $120 away basically!

I do realize this customers complaint is from April of 2006 ( well over four years ago) but I must speak on the side of Zenni Optical. I have had excellent experience with them as have my many friends and acquaintances that I have referred to them.

 

I have ordered multiple styles / pairs of glasses from Zenni four times since 2007 ( total of nine pairs to date) They are all still as good as the day I received them too.

 

I have been wearing prescription glasses for going on 46 years so I do know quality with my eyewear and I am very particular about my eye care.

 They always get it right given the correct prescription is submitted.

 I say when in doubt on ordering anything to do with reading glasses which should accompany a Dr's prescription give them a call they are happy to help and guide you through the process with the correct information in a cheerful, courteous and professional manner.

 Even if you don't have an Rx. and know your reading glasses numbers that work for you then you are also in the good.

 

I have saved Thousands!:

 Zenni Optical far exceeds what I have purchased in the past from retailers and have never had to call except for one time and that was for technical questions just before recent order on computer/ office glasses. ( they are different than reading glasses and make a world of difference reducing eye strain on the computer)

I spoke with one of their representatives which was also a licensed optometrist.

  Was helped right away and was off the phone within 20 minutes with every question answered.

 

 My experiences with Zenni mirror the same positive report I've received from the many referrals that I have pointed Zenni's way.

 It's hard to believe that someone with a question has a hard time getting through to their customer support when it says on their website the best times to call with no long wait.

They also state that on some of the more complicated prescriptions that the wait may be longer and there
 is a link on their website to check your status of your order.

 Might I add they have had a refund policy that's more than fair although I've never had to use it..

 I was told that Zenni deals with 20,000 orders a week and has a BBB rating of A+ which the highest that's achievable. That is impressive.
 There are variables with shipping and such with that many orders that cannot be avoided. I know, I have my own company and things arise.

  I do not work for Zenni nor do I have any affiliations with them ,  just a satisfied customer with 100% positive experience with the company.
