I started with Zephyrhills over eight years ago. They supplied my company with drinking water for my employees. I thought Zephyrhills was giving me a good deal however, I received a visit from another company called Quench and they offered me the option of moving away from bottled water. I looked at what they had to offer and I realized it would make sense to make the change.  I then contacted ZHills to cancel their service and they told me that they would offer me a filtered machine for a lower price than Quench. Being I had been with ZHills for many years, I decided to go with the lower cost ZHills units. I have at this point never really had major problems with ZHills except billing errors from time to time. I have had the Zhills units in my offices and loading docks for 23 months now. I had three units broken for four months and ZHills have told me repeatedly that they would honor their word and replace the broken units. It has also come to my attention that they keep on billing for all 16 units even though three have not worked for over four months. I am frustrated by they way they are treating my company and me. You would think they would take care of my account after all these years. I called them again two weeks ago to cancel my account. They had the nerve to send me another bill with all the regular charges plus $150 dollars for early termination. They have never even changed any of the filters and claim that their filters last for 18 months. 18 months have come and gone and still no filter changes. This company has placed these units and has forgotten to take care of needed maintenance.   I had another company come out here to replace all the units and had the new company test all the units ZHills left behind and it turns out that all the units are dispensing water that is worse than the tap water that the units are using to get the water in the first place. The new company cut open the filters used by ZHills and showed me how cheap the filters were. The filters and RO are made in China and are not designed to last more then a few months.  The new company also showed me that the units are also made in China and do not even have certifications needed for insurance purposes. I have taken some time out to do some research and have found some disturbing information about five gallon jugs.  It seems that those jugs are made with all types of toxic materials and are mostly just tap water resold to us. I am now sure that ZHills has just been ripping me off for years.   It is clear to me at least that ZHills is not set up for filtration services. Their model is the five-gallon jugs. I advise anyone considering moving away from the jugs avoid ZHills as they seem to be like many others charging cheap prices and not maintaining their machines.    As you can see, I am very frustrated with my experience with Zephyr Hills. Has anyone else had a similar situation or issue?  I feel I made a wise decision for my company.  I only found one company that has the ability to deliver what they promise.
