I bought a used kia soul thinking that I had a matcfhed set of tires as is normally the case when you buy a car.   When I got home I discovered that I had two Kumho tires, one maastercraft and one Lexum tire.  Needless to say, I was pretty upset.

I called my salesperson and she indicated that since I had bought the car at such a good price, ;they wouldn't do anything to fix the issue. I explained that different tires have different wear charteractisics, they handle differently,  and they brake differently. Very unsafe!!! She talked to her bosess but they wouldn't budge.

A number of texts were exchanged, and they finally agreed to provide two Kumho tires thru discount tire, at their discount rate , but with me paying the 182.00 to get the tires.   This doesnt seem quite right.  I even offfered to split the cost with them but they said no.

It seems to me that they should pay for replacing the entire set of tires, since they sold the car with the oddball tires to begin with.  Please let me know if you agree with me or if Im being to picky.  Thank you.

It was YOU who failed to check out the car BEFORE you bought it so that you could complain about the tires BEFORE buying the car as it was presented. Since YOU failed to do this, please tell us all with your great wisdom how this is their fault.

You had the opputunity to inspect the car before you bought it. You bought it 'as is' with mismatched tires. They owe you nothing.
