Complaint Review: Zip Away Travel

Zip Away Travel All State Promotions Consumer fraud / ripoff Unknown Internet

In June of this year I purchased a vacation package from Zip Away Travel. The package was to include: 3 day 2 night San Diego Vacation with airfare for (2) adults.

The cost of the package was $320.00, then I there was an additional charge for $69.00 per person ($138.00) Total cost of the package was $458.00.

I paid these amounts with separate electronic checks made to "All State Promotions". Payments needed to be done before the "activation" could be sent via e-mail.

On June 5, 2015 I received an e-mail from "customerservice@zipawaytravel.com", they provided contract number and some information. Contract ID#23030650, ID# Package code ZAT-413.

They also provided "Contact Customer Service" phone 877-235-3321.

They also indicated that if the "activation" was not received the number to call is: 800-861-7313.

I waited 14 business days, as it was recommended then called both of these numbers. After waiting a long time for response a recorded voice responded saying something like "Thanks for calling the travel center please hold". No humane voice ever came to the phone.
