Croat Pavers of SWFL/Goldy Krekic
January 29, 2016 Entered in to contract to build pool/ paver lanai, pool deck, driveway and sidewalk for $54,000.00 We Gave Croat Pavers 20% down, $10,980.00. It is now August 2016 and after many months of lies, stall tactics we have cancelled the contract for failure to perform and start work as agreed upon and by certified letter we requested our deposit back by 5PM August 9, 2016. It has not been returned. There are many documetned details in this situation that highlight the dishonest and deceptive methods of business practice that Mr. Krekic displays and uses on innocent consumers.
Unfortunately after a number of attempts to include this on the site I keep getting an error and the info deleted. I am out of patience so this is an abbreviated versiion. Below is what we have found out after the fact:
Zlatan Krekic conducts his business without a license. He has used Roger Campagnolo Jr.'s Certified General Contractors license to conduct business. Mr. Campagnolo was VP of Croat Pavers until his resignaton in June 2016. Krekic cannot get a license to do business in the city of Cape Coral.
Zlatan Krekic has been cited 11 times since 2009 for operating with out a license by the City of Cape Coral and Lee County. Most resently August 10, 2016. It seems no matter how many times the City cites him, he pleads quilty pays a fine and is back in busines ripping of innocent consumers. Information can be verified at the Lee County Clerk of Courts web page.
We have sent detailed complaints to the Better Business Bureau, The Florida State Attorney Generals, The Florida State Business and Professional Regulation and The City of Cape Coral. We will be contactin the Lee County Police to see if there can be criminal charges brought with the details we have. We will also be contacting news media. Hopefully they will find this worthly so that others will not come to financial harm from this man.
