Like one other poster I was told that I could not leave the hospital if I did not wear this vest and that my medicare would cover it. The lady told me it was her first day so like the other poster I think she worked for the Drs. I resisted it and frankly never put the thing on but a few mnths later I receieved a call from Zoll whereupon I told them I never wore the thing.

They said send it in which I did. A few weeks later I got a call tellling me that I owed them $1200. I explained that I was told it was covered and I refused. They said they could set me up on a payment plan. I said no. I then wrote to the state bureau of consumer protection and after a couple of letters from the state they dropped my paying.

Here is what I think is going on. They are kicking back to Drs. to prescribe these vests and will tell you anything to unload on seniors as it is supposedly covered by medicare. Ready for this? The charge is $3600 per month for a little spandex and a cell phone with some sensors.

I read a few people have been shocked by these things and one died as a result of arythmia cause by the Stun Vest. I smelled a big rat and still do. These thieves are the reason we are running out of money for medicare.
