In March of 2016 I signed up for Zoosk for a 6-month membership. The next day I was unable to sign in. I called customer service who told me to make a second account, and that I would only be charged for one account. I made the second account. Three or four months later, I went online to cancel my subscription. Secondly, I called Zoosk to verify my subcription was cancelled. My fiance did the same as he was also a member of Zoosk. We both even talked to customer service and also emailed them to tell them of our "successful Zoosk love story." At the end of six months, Zoosk charged my fiances credit card for another 6 month subscription. He called a second time, but Zoosk explained a 'no refund policy' and agreed only to return HALF of the charge. I went online to Zoosk to make sure my account was still cancelled, and it was. However, I carefully watched my credit card for a Zoosk charge in the 6th month, but none appeared. In the 7th month however, they charged my bank debit for a six month subscription $97. I had just gotten out of the hospital and was in recovery and neglected to go over my statement; I missed that Zoosk charge. In March 2017, Zoosk again charged my bank card, but this time it was for $37. I called Zoosk, who again spoke of a "no refund policy", who also verified my Zoosk account had been cancelled. They said it was my first account that they charged because it had not been cancelled. So the first account which had never been activated or charged for six months, they activated and charged me. They refused to refund the $97 and agreed to refund HALF of the $37. I opened a dispute with my bank who got the full $37 refunded. What you need to know:

IF YOU CANCEL YOU ZOOSK ACCOUNT, DON'T TRUST THEM. CANCEL THE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD THEY CHARGE TO OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED AGAIN AND AGAIN.  They do not cancel subscriptions!!
