Zwicker and Associates,Inc I have entered a settlement payment agreement with this "lawyer" via ACCC..but I have yet to recieve any reciept of payments-I am requesting they be dropped from program unless proof of debt payments can be issued. Really don't want them getting fattened up on my hard earned money! Andover Massachusetts
I am having second thoughts about my payments being sent to Zwicker via ACCC-I did try to call prior to signing up with ACCC but the lady I spoke with was super aggressive! I wanted to cry-I am trying to contact credit card company that they are saying I owe money too-and I am aware that the stae law here is no debt can be collected after a 3 year period-no harrassing phone calls can be made,no attempt to collect over 3 year debt can be made either-they are in violation on the FTC debt collection laws.
I am starting my complaint against them with BBB to see if either they produce reciepts of all my payments or else they stop accepting any further payments and consider them selves paid in FULL

Again..after 4 months of nothing from them,I get a phone call (at work) and a "unavailable" call to me cell,and a phone call to my Mother's house(?) I called back and spoke with Vicky..she was rude,almost violent! Geez, I asked for validation of debt-as I am entitled to under several Federal Laws and State Laws. She said NO! She demanded payment right then, I said I can't..she said she was then going to send this to the lawyer for immediate litigation!~She even told me to SHUT UP! so she could speak..(I wasn't talking)..a few days later, a call again-from Courtney-she apologized for Vicky,said lawyers can not file for any legal action until all payment options are exhausted..she said she would send me a "bill" with payment options included.
It hasn't even been a week-I have not,as yet, received any letter..and they called first thing this morning? Umm..I am not going to speak to them until AFTER I receive validation of debt. I spoke to a REAL lawyer,and I am in the right..any further action from them prior to receiving said validation,they are violating my rights. Vicky violated my rights quite a few times, and I know I can proceed with a lawsuit against them..maybe start a class action law suit against them. They are vultures,and they abuse the laws,and abuse us consumers. They need to be stopped. Next is to contact AG's office's in both states, file a claim with BBB,and so on and so on..

Most debt collectors, including Zwicker, do not report payments on your credit report. Check annualcreditreport.com to confirm. Paying them usually just makes things worse for people.
You may want to do some research on them. There is some good info. from other consumer complaints vs. Zwicker on this site:

Check those for links to people that can help you with Zwicker, and on how to complain vs. them as a "law firm". Good luck.
