This is what happened to me after spending money in support of their game Mafia Wars. The game in itself is free, but they allow the purchase of reward (godfather) points for people who are willing to buy them. 85 GFP for $20.00, for instance. The scam did not start until AFTER I paid them. After I spent money on this game, they started to leave me out of new bonuses that they were giving to other game players. Now that I have bought godfather points, they are offering 3 free godfather points PER DAY to other players. Meanwhile, no matter how often I log in, play, fight, and even compete with others they do not give me the free points. When asked, I found out that this has been happening to at least several if not many more of the paying players that were on my facebook list! My guess is this is an effort to get me to pay for something that other people are getting for free. I went on their 'moderator controlled' discussion forums. The only idea allowed to float on their forums is that the 3 free godfather points are only for NEW players. Well, I have proof that several people who have been playing the game LONGER than me are getting the free points for anybody that want's to see the evidence. Another coincidence is that these people told me that they never spent money in support of the game. Hmm. Sounds like a scam to me. So I am now posting this to rip-off-reports unless Zynga changes its cruel polices towards their paying members.

For now, I am taking my game playing and strategy over to Mob Wars. If you are using any of Zynga's products take heed before you open your wallet. If you do, make sure you regularly compare your accounts with a non-paying friend to see if you are not secretly being left out or anything. As for their gambling games like Poker. I don't want to even think about what may or may not be happening with those apps...
